Editorial Policy
Last updated: 1 January 2026
CreatCareer's mission is to publish accurate, practical and free career-development content. This Editorial Policy explains the standards our team follows when researching, writing, reviewing and updating articles on this Website.
Who writes our content
All content on CreatCareer is produced by our in-house editorial team and a small group of vetted contributors with at least three years of professional experience in their topic area (HR, recruiting, education, freelancing, software engineering, healthcare, etc.). Every article is reviewed by a senior editor before publication.
Research and sourcing
Our writers rely on:
- Primary sources such as official labour statistics, government job-portal data, and academic research.
- Reputable industry publications including Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, LinkedIn Talent Insights and Pew Research.
- Direct interviews with hiring managers, recruiters and subject-matter experts.
- Our own internal experience coaching readers and reviewing real resumes and interviews.
Fact-checking and accuracy
Statistics, salary ranges and any time-sensitive claims are verified against at least two independent sources. Articles include the date of last update at the top of the page. Where research is contested or evolving, we say so.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools (such as large language models) for limited purposes — brainstorming outlines, checking grammar and improving readability. No article on CreatCareer is published without being written, edited and fact-checked by a human. We do not auto-publish AI-generated content.
Corrections policy
If we publish something inaccurate, we update the article and add a "Correction" note at the bottom of the page. To report an error, please use our Contact page with the article URL and the correction you suggest.
Editorial independence
Our editorial decisions are independent of advertising and affiliate relationships. Sponsored content, when it exists, is clearly labelled as such. Advertisers do not see articles before publication and have no influence on what we cover.
Updating older content
Career advice ages quickly. We review evergreen articles at least once every 12 months and refresh statistics, examples and tool recommendations as needed.
