5 Mistakes to Avoid
1. Starting from childhood or education
Do not begin with "I was born in..." or "I studied at...". Start with your current professional identity. Interviewers want to know who you are now, not how you got here.
2. Reading your CV aloud
The interviewer has your CV in front of them. Reciting it is a wasted opportunity. Your answer should add context, personality, and motivation that the CV cannot convey.
